LEADERSHIP-DRIVEN EXECUTION CULTURE GIVES MORE POWER TO A DANISH POWER PLANT

In 2007, Denmark's largest energy producer, DONG Energy Power, asked a partnership of two consultancies, FranklinCovey Nordic Approach and Trivium, to custom design a training program that would foster higher production.  After the training, the company exceeded its goal by 3 percent, which equals a US$1.5 to $3 million improvement.  This is an English summary and expansion of the study originally written in Danish in 2009.

Philips LCD, the global leader in the manufacturing of TFT-LCD panels for televisions, monitors, notebooks, and mobile applications, turned to FOCUS: Achieving Your Highest Priorities training. Two months after implementing the training, LG. Philips was able to decrease average overtime days from 10.6 to 8.4 days per month while reaching the upper 90s in percentage of superior goods in comparison with input.
